Claiming Your Podcast
We've got guidelines for podcasters from the following platforms
Anchor
As a podcaster, if you publish on anchor, there are a few extra steps you need to take. We did some research and found out the steps to take. Before you claim your podcast on the PodRoom platform please perform the few steps below:
- From your anchor account, click 'Settings' in the top right of your Dashboard
- Select 'Distribution'
Scroll down to Advanced Settings and turn 'on' this setting: 'Display personal email address publicly in RSS feed' - PodRoom needs to see this email in order to send a Code to claim your podcast Please don't forget to scroll back up and click 'Save' to update this change to your RSS feed
- This change will reflect after approximately 10 minutes, you can check your RSS feed to confirm this change
- After this, please, come back to the PodRoom app to claim your podcast
If you publish on other platforms and are having trouble claiming your podcast on PodRoom, please contact your platform's support provider. They will provide steps that pertains to your platform and might be similar to the steps above.
